Earlier this week, Jensen Shuler & Cooper Booher accepted awards at the School Board Meeting. We are so proud of these Tiny Swain Scholars!
It's Dino Week at Prek! Ms. Penny's class learned that it takes 3 preschoolers to equal the height of a Triceratops and 7 preschoolers to be as tall as a Brontosaurus. Ms. Jennifer's class is feeding the Alpha-saurus letters!!!!
It was a BEAUTIFUL day on the field for Young Athletes! Our Pre-K students had the best time competing, practicing their sportsmanship, and being active!
It goes without saying that a big day like this doesn't happen without the hard work and participation of so many people. Thank you to Special Olympics' Young Athletes program for the equipment, shirts, and support, Ms. Jennifer for all of your planning to make today happen, the many school system employees who came to help out, our excellent volunteers, the middle school for their help with organizing and set up, and the middle school students who were such good role models for the preschoolers today! When we got back to school, Ms. Chelsea had the Floatin' Goat truck waiting for us with Shaved Ice for all! There were so many people, parents, and community members pitching in today and it turned out amazing. ❤️
