Bright Adventures PreK Closed 11/10 Due to a staffing shortage, Bright Adventures PreK will be closed for students on Thursday, 11/10/2022. This closure also means there will be no after school Thursday at Bright Adventures.
No School for Students - Teacher Workday - Oct 31, 2022 There will be no school for students on Monday, October 31, 2022 for a Teacher Workday.
No School at Swain High, Swain Middle & Bright Adventures - 10/19/22 Due to the concern over the safety of water because of a water main break in Bryson City, there will be no school at Swain High School, Swain Middle School and Bright Adventures Prek on Wednesday, October 19th. We fully anticipate water being returned to normal by the end of the day Wednesday. East Elementary and West Elementary will all operate on normal schedules tomorrow.

Student Accident Insurance Available Young Insurance Group is offering voluntary student accident insurance for the 2022-2023 school year.
