Student Accident Insurance Available Young Insurance Group is offering voluntary student accident insurance for the 2023-2024 school year. Information has been posted on the School District Website under the Parents Tab and labeled Student Accident Insurance. You can apply on-line or by mail. Early Dismissal Today due to weather! Due to the threat of inclement weather, Swain County Schools will be dismissing at 1:30 PM today, March 3, 2023.
MLK Holiday Swain County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday.
No School for Students - Teacher Workday - Jan 13, 2023 Due to the forecast for inclement weather in Swain County and to avoid the potential of having to dismiss in the middle of our End of Course Exams, Swain County Schools will be closed for students on Friday, January 13th and it will be an Optional Teacher Workday for staff. In addition, Swain County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday.
