As an aspiring teacher Swain sophomore Kensley Chambers wanted to do something to help young students who might not be able to come up with supplies to start out the school year. She used her own money as well as money that she raised through Facebook. All total she filled four elementary bags (2 for girls and 2 for boys), as well as 2 for PreK students (1 girl and 1 boy).
"I feel like every child should have the opportunity to feel happy and proud when they come to school," stated Chambers. "I wanted to give as many children as I could a reason to smile."
